Knitting 102: Hats

  • Kenmore Junior Senior High School 155 Delaware Road Buffalo, NY, 14217 United States (map)

Ready to level up your knitting skills? This class is designed for beginners who are comfortable with knitting basics and ready to try knitting in the round. Over the course of this class, you’ll learn how to use both circular needles and double pointed needles, join in the round, work simple decreases, and follow a basic hat pattern from start to finish. Our class project will be a classic beanie—a fun, functional accessory that’s perfect for gifting or keeping cozy. By the end of the class, you’ll walk away with a finished hat and the confidence to tackle other in-the-round projects like cowls, bags, and more.
