Crochet 101

Class Description: Designed for the absolute beginner, this class will cover basic crochet techniques including chaining, single crochet, half-double crochet, double crochet, and weaving in ends. These skills will set you up to create easy projects such as coasters, washcloths, scarves, cowls, headbands, or fingerless mitts.
Required Materials:
Crochet hook: size US I/5.5 mm
One skein of economical worsted weight (category 4) yarn in a solid color (no variegated/multicolored yarn).
Recommended Brands: Red heart Super Saver or Big Twist.
Recommended Colors: Medium shade, not too dark like black or navy, not too bright like white or bright yellow.
